I bought Can Am 1 in June of 2002 on eBay. It needs a total restoration, and is in storage until a later date.
Its a pretty basic model, Firethorn Interior, PS, PB, Air, AM-FM 8 track, #'s matching TA 6.6. Car was last driven in 1994. I found a rust free 76 Lemans to use as a donor when the time comes. Originally sold at Ranken Pontiac Co, Easton, PA.

I bought Can Am 2 in May of 2003. I was talking to a man at the Spring Carlisle Meet and we had a few things in common, one we both have Pontiacs, then as we talked we found out that we were both working on 70 GTO's and we each had a Can Am. So I asked if he would consider selling it, and he said yes.  He gave me a price and I went to his house to see it and brought it home. Its in original condition, all original metal about 99% rust free. Could use a paint job and new decals but looks good from about 20 feet. Its also fairly basic, PS, PB, Air, Came from factory Radio Delete (option # UN9 Radio Accomodation Pkg $17.94), now has dealer installed AM-FM 8 Track, Tach, Console clock, Power trunk release, Buckskin Interior, Came from factory with GR70-15 White Wall tires. Original TA 6.6 motor is missing. When I purchased it, it came with a NOS Motor Town Stripe kit, NOS window and door seals and a few other items. Here's a little riddle. I bought it from the original owner but am the 4th or 5th owner: Answer: he sold it then bought it back several years later. He still had the window sticker and a little history to tell me.  He said it was in about the 3rd issue of Thunder Am magazine, he used to race it (thus the reason the motor is gone). When he originally bought it, it was one of two in the back lot of the Pontiac Dealer. Originally sold at Rosenthal-Hayman Pontiac Inc, Alexandria, VA.
